We’ve been asked by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works to serve as the professional partnering facilitator on this high-visibility project in Downey, California.
Working collaboratively with project and county leadership representing five stakeholder communities, including DPW, the Department of Public Health, the County office of the Chief Executive Officer, and Rancho hospital leadership, GCC facilitated the development of innovative organizational tools and processes, partnering and refresh workshops, as well as leadership coaching and mentoring as part of the CM team.
Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center is undergoing a $418 million renovation and campus beautification project to construct a new Wellness & Aquatic Therapy Center, new outpatient facilities, and inpatient expansion to improve seismic safety. This project had two construction phases: The Wellness & Aquatic Therapy Center and the outpatient facilities and renovations to the research and administrative buildings, all of which were completed by December 2020.
