The Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority (Metro) Community Relations Department contracted with GCC to provide services to the Deputy Executive Officer and department to focus on strengthening the departmental organization and alignment while positioning itself to best support the Agency’s programs, projects, and initiatives in conjunction with the agency’s new strategic goals that frame Metro’s new Strategic Plan – Metro Vision 2028.
GCC reviewed the department scope and developed recommendations for the best utilization of its limited staff resources while meeting the demands of the agency, inclusive of and not limited to local government and external affairs, program management, special projects, and community education, and creating alignment in the department’s strategic direction and agency goals. A recommendation for rolling the plan out to all staff was developed to ensure employee adoption as well.
