Scope: GCC was contracted by Swinerton Builders to deliver facilitated Partnering for the new Compton USD New Compton High School project, located in Compton, California.
Major Stakeholders: Compton Unified School District, Cummings Construction Management, DLR Group, and Swinerton Builders.
Project Description: The New Compton High School Project resides on 32 acres at the corner of Alondra and Acacia in the city of Compton, California, and includes a new 2 story Academic building, a Performing Arts Center, Gymnasium and associated Locker Room, CIF Competition swimming pool and Support building. Site improvements consists of a new Stadium with track and field, aluminum bleachers and press box, restroom and concession building, parking lots, tennis and basketball courts and lunch shelter.
