Repair Critical Building Systems–Naval Support Activity

Scope: GCC was contracted by ContiFederal to deliver facilitated Partnering for the new Repair Critical Building Systems project at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples (Capodichino), Italy.

Major stakeholders: Include Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), US Sixth Fleet, US Naval Forces Europe, and ContiFederal Construction.

Project Description: This project is being executed in four phases beginning with the renovation of Building 446 and construction of the temporary modular facility as swing space for the phasing of the Building 440 construction, consisting of critical system upgrades, which includes chiller and elevator replacements. Critical coordination is required for HVAC and electrical upgrades, commissioning, staff relocation, and swing-space, all while maintaining security protocols and continuity of operations.
