Scope: GCC was contracted by Stacy Witbeck to deliver facilitated Partnering for the Port of Long Beach Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility Locomotive Facility, located in Long Beach, California.
Major stakeholders: Including Stacy Witbeck and Port of Long Beach.
Project Description: The POLB Pier B On-Dock Rail Support Facility Locomotive Facility project has 2 phases. Phase 1 includes demolition (removal of AC roadway, drainage structures, fence and gates, sign and foundations, clear & grub, reinforced concrete slabs and other wet and dry utilities). This phase also includes a new storm drain line, sewer line, waterline, LADWP water relocation micro tunnel, railroad signals, fencing, sidewalk, driveway, landscape, irrigation, trackwork, and special trackwork. Phase 2 primarily includes trackwork – connection to existing main track 2, relocate/resurface existing tracks, install new turnouts, and railroad signal.
