New US Embassy Compound

Scope: GCC was contracted by Caddell on behalf of the Department of State, Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) to deliver facilitated Partnering for the new US Embassy in Juba S. Sudan

Major stakeholders: Included Department of State, Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO), Caddell and DLR Group.

Project Description:  The Juba New Embassy Compound (NEC) project will consist of the design, construction, and commissioning of an approximate 14,500 gross square meter new office building, onsite residential facilities of approximately 24,000 gross square meters, dining hall, storage and maintenance facilities, access control facilities, utility and site infrastructure, parking facilities, and a helicopter landing zone and will achieve minimum LEED Silver Certification. The previously undeveloped NEC greenfield site is approximately 19 acres located in the Hai Jebel region west of Juba, South Sudan.
