Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is conducting a 7-year Residential Sound Insulation Upgrade program, providing an opportunity for current owners of noise-impacted dwelling units in the approved noise contour in the City of Segundo and select neighborhoods in Los Angeles City Council Districts 8 and 11, to receive sound insulation upgrades. To enable this, LAWA is implementing the “LAX-RSI Program” project with the total budget of $143 million to mitigate approximately 2,385 dwelling units. LAWA is targeting completion of the LAX-RSI program by 2029.
GCC is contracted to CSDA, the lead designer/program manager, to provide Inspection services of construction activities that include retrofitting exterior doors and windows, installing ventilation systems and other various treatments to eligible residences.
