Scope: GCC was contracted by PMB to deliver facilitated Partnering for the new El Camino Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Sunnyvale, California.
Major stakeholders: Including El Camino Health, Life Point Health, PMB, Truebeck Construction, Material Design Architects.
Project Description: El Camino Rehabilitation Hospital is a 3-story 63,120 square foot 52-bed facility built over 1 level of underground parking and designed to care for acute inpatient physical rehabilitation services in the City of Sunnyvale, CA. The facility will provide high quality, patient centered care to those who have experienced a loss of function from an injury or illness. Facilities include a large Physical Therapy gym with the latest in equipment including robotics, cooking therapy, and transfer therapy; Audiology Therapy; an outdoor Therapy Garden; 12 patient bays for brain injury which require a less stimulating environment; 40 Patient Rooms; Staff Lounge/lockers, and Pharmacy.
