Behavior Based Safety Program

Period of Performance: 2025-2027

Scope: GCC was contracted by Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) to develop and deliver a behavior based safety program to all 2,700 employees. 

Major stakeholders: All the employees of the BSNC Corporate Entity and all subsidiaries contained within it.

Project Description: BBS-100 is the Top-Level Behavior Based Safety Program, designed to fundamentally change the culture of the organization. It introduces the foundational principles of the program leading to cultural commitments to safety that never change.

BBS-200 is a “Line of Business” specific program that augments the BBS-100 program with the needs based on safety and risk profiles of each LOB. This is the LOB Level Safety Program, designed to expand the organizational safety culture by incorporating additional behavioral aspects as well as specific technical safety details represents the foundational principles of the LOB program and includes content is developed by the LOB and a ‘Train the Trainer’ program.
