Scope: GCC was contracted by Amoroso Construction to deliver facilitated Partnering for the new Veteran’s Administration Community Based Outreach Clinic (CBOC) and Central Utility Plant (CUP), located in Stockton, California.
Major Stakeholders: Including VA-Construction and Facilities Management, West Region, US Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District, the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System, and Amoroso Construction.
Project Description: This new Central Valley Community Based Outpatient Clinic in San Joaquin County includes 158,000ft, 4-storyfacilitydedicated to primary and specialty patient care, mental health services, and counseling services, including administrative, maintenance, and training spaces. This facility will includes energy and water conservation features designed to exceed LEED Silver certification.
The project also provides for a new 3,300 square foot Central Utility Plant and other infrastructure and support facilities for future projects. This new location will be conveniently sited for Veteran access next to San Joaquin General Hospital, adjacent to Interstate 5 in the Central Valley of California.
